As soon as we got out of customs, we rolled our trolleys to the baggage check-in area then it was a 10 minutes walk, counting searching time for the departure level at Terminal 2. Just to get through to our gate, we had to go through 2 checks. Another long process where we are required to take jackets, shoes off and have all our hand luggage go through the x-ray system. We waited for about 40 minutes and then we were off on our Air New Zealand Heathrow bound 10 hour flight.
